About LPOYC

LPOYC is about great family fun in a breathtaking sailing environment.

Since 1977 we have been conducting spirited races, organizing leisurely cruises and savoring friendly BBQs in Bayview, Idaho, from May through September. Located at the southern end of beautiful Lake Pend Oreille, the waters of Bayview offer a wide range of conditions against some of the most dramatic sailing backdrops in the United States.

LPOYC embraces and supports new members wishing to race or cruise on Lake Pend Oreille. We race on most Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings throughout the summer. We offer numerous opportunities for racers, cruisers and families to come out and enjoy this one-of-a-kind boating environment.

New to sailing? No problem! Hop aboard with one of our experienced and friendly crews for a race. Just want to socialize? Come to our family BBQs at the conclusion of every Wednesday evening race. In addition, the town of Bayview offers holiday celebrations and festivities that draw folks from all over Idaho. Their 4th of July fireworks show is top notch.
